HIPSTER ALERT :: 12 Years of DFA: Too Old To Be New, Too New To Be Classic



Red Bull Music has created a short video on the history of DFA Records. With the main players being James Murphy (of LCD Soundsystem fame), Tim Goldsworthy (who is currently being sued by Murphy - http://www.rollingstone.com/music/news/james-murphy-suing-dfa-records-co-founder-20130304), and Jonathon Galkin (from Nickelodeon's Hey Dude); DFA came about quickly in 2001 in Manhattan's burgeoning disco-punk scene.
