Silent Alarm was not only the debut album for Bloc Party but a seminal album for the post-punk / electronic sound that became popular in the mid 2000's. Between lead singer Kele Okereke's unique vocals, kicking drums by Matt Tong, Russell Lissack (lead guitar), and Gordon Moakes on bass; Bloc Party honed their skills to create an indelible sound.
