Shortly after midnight on January 1, 2011, I had a seizure which led to the discovery of a lesion on my left parietal lobe. Unfortunately, I was unable to will it away with optimism and simply ignoring its presence. I went for another MRI in October to find that it had doubled in size and showed signs of internal bleeding. Due to multiple factors, the doctors at the University of Chicago Medical Center have opted for surgical removal. However, given that I do not have health insurance, I have to convince the hospital I can pay for services. So, I humbly ask you good folk to please make a donation to help evict the squatter that has taken residence in my brain!

There are several options available if you wish to donate:
1. Eat, drink and be merry with me Saturday, November 19th from 6-9p at Centro located at 3819 N. Ashland Avenue in Chicago
A $40 bracelet purchased at the venue will get you OPEN BAR and an ALL YOU CAN EAT BUFFET. There will be raffles for art, a massage session, photography services, and more. I believe discounted tickets will be available for those who are under 21 or do not drink.
Of the $40 entrance fee, $20 will go to the surgery fund, so invite all your friends for a good time and a good cause!
2. You can donate directly so that 100% of your donation will go to the surgery fund. Donations can be made in my name and sent to my work address:
