SHOEGAZING :: NOTHING - Dig

Shoegaze is a genre made popular in the mid 90's with bands like My Bloody Valentine, Ride, and Lush. I haven't heard anything so fitting of the title until tonite with Nothing's track Dig. If ever there was a resurgence of the genre, it's here. Where do they hail from? Philadelphia, no less. Will shoegaze become the new dubstep ... who knows, but with this band, we aren't complaining.

Still my favorite drum n bass mixtape ever. Dieselboy gave the UK drum n bass DJ's a run for their money and introduced a whole generation of Americans to liquid snares and beautiful melodies. Dieselboy aka Damian Higgins is still doing his thing. He is the founder of Human Imprint records.
