What you have is a 45 minute mix of tribal chanting, hip hop, electro, moombahton and more. A Tribe Called Red consists of three DJs, Ian "DJ NDN" Campeau, Dan "DJ Shub" General and Bear Witness. Due to their unique and extraordinary beat matching skills, they are taking their sound global with tours all over the map.

I recently came across A Tribe Called Red and I have to say I am hooked. These guys are dropping some straight moombahcore, pow wow step?!?, soca core ... genre bending tunes and they freaking rock.

Hailing from Ottawa, Canada, DJ's NDN, Bear Witness and Shub in 2008, created a never before heard sound made up of a wide variety of musical styles ranging from Hip-Hop, Dance Hall, Electronic, and their own mash-up of club and Pow Wow music, known as Pow Wow Step that is quickly gaining respect from all kinds of communities from all around the world.

These guys are definitely getting some play out from me this weekend.
