In the 1990's, trance music swept up the raver flower kids in a wave of euphoria. Platipus Records was one of the labels that brought the best names in trance to the ears of millions. One of their artists, Kaukuta created a project - Terra Ferma. Under the name of Claudio, Kaukuta produced and developed some of the most musical and influential trance music of its time starting with Union jack in 1993, a band he formed with Platipus Records label founder and pioneer Simon Berry. Together they fused their styles and produced some truly unforgettable music that still stands the test of time today.

Platipus Records

Platipus Records was a popular trance music record label that was based in London, UK. It was founded in 1993 by Simon Berry. The early releases were almost exclusively limited to Berry's various projects, including Union Jack, Clanger, and Art of Trance. Later, the label included artists like Dawnseekers and Quietman.

After 17 years, Platipus Records stopped trading in April 2010. Simon Berry and the label's artists have since then been relaunched under a new label, Porcupine Records.
