LOVE IS IN THE AIR: Noble's Secret Weapon

LOVE

It's almost Valentine's day ... and while I don't think that's the only time of the year to celebrate love, it is a time to remember how special love is. These mixes are very personal to me. I made them for a very special friend. She's given me permission to share them, so I will. Some of them have a theme, but the overall theme is expressing love in a number of ways. Enjoy!

MEMORIAL :: Label Makers - French Express

Despite it's name, French Express is a Dallas based Record Label started by Leon Oziel. In 2008, Leon was writing for music blogs Discodust, as well as his own - French Express. Leon also produces and DJ's under the name Perseus.

After seeing then undiscovered talent, such as Azari & III, Ellie Goulding, Disclosure, and others getting signed, he decided that it was high time to start his own label by recruiting some of his favorite artists. Soon after, he had a roster filled with such name as Chris Malinchak, Jonas Rathsman, and Moon Boots. Leon has a real taste for talent. So now, what you have with French Express is a renaissance of filter, deep house, and a real romance with the rhythm.

GET ON THE DANCE FLOOR :: Moon Boots - No One (download)

Some music just hits you in that sweet spot. It warms the heart and gets your feet shuffling. French Express artist Moon Boots has this down to a science. We've previously posted a lot of originals and remixes of this guy including the incredible Got Somebody. Where he's going from here is anyone's guess, but with boots like these he's clearly aiming for the sky.
